Louis
Charles Muller of Westbrookville, NY, a retired butcher who owned and
operated The Pinekill Bait Shop in Westbrookville, and a lifelong area
resident, died Saturday, June 7, 1997 at home. He was 66.
The
son of the late Henry and Julia Schmidt Muller, he was born on May 6,
1931, in Middletown, NY. He was the widower of Bette J. Youmans Muller.

He
was a Korean War Marine Corps. Veteran; a Life Member of the Marine
Corps. League Detachment 236, Middletown, NY, where he served as
Chairman of the Toys for Tots Program; he was a member of the American
Legion Post 151, Middletown, NY, and also a member of the Shawangunk
Mountain Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4947, Bloomingburg, NY.

& VFW
Survivors
include two daughters, Vicki Lou Muller and Lynn Marie Gillen of
Middletown, NY; one brother, Arden Muller of Montgomery, NY; three
sisters, Marie Thompson of Murrells Inlet, SC, Noreen DeWitt of
Bullville, NY and Valera Gildersleeve of Columbia, MD; two
grandchildren, Nicholas Louis Roberts and Alyssa Marie Gillen of
Middletown, NY and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial
Contributions were made to the Marine Toys for Tots Program, the Marine
Corps League Detachment 236, Middletown, NY 10940 and to Hospice
of Orange and Sullivan Counties, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh,
NY 12550.
